[ She says it firmly. There's nothing to question, there. If he said something that seemed off, she'd like to think she would realize it wasn't really what he thought.

After giving that a moment to breath, she nods. ]

I'll change my power to Art of Deduction, then. I can get to know the gods by talking to them, and last time I went looking around... It just felt like I was intruding on Ruin's things...

Yu is quiet for a long moment, eyes searching her face. But slowly he'll nod, accepting her decision. Even with his mind such a fucking mess, making it much harder to judge ... he's at least reasonably confident that she's truly making this decision for herself, and not just for him. ]

Thank you... I truly believe this will really help us out.

[ he pauses then, thoughtful as he briefly glances away. softly: ]

... it was something Zoe and I had discussed ... me defecting to Cunning, so I could use Art of Deduction in the next trial...

[ Madoka reaches her hands out into the space between them, silently asking for his hands to hold. ]

[ She wasn't as close with Zoe as she would have liked to be, but it's... Nice, in a way, to feel useful. To do something for both Yu and Zoe. ]

[ He blinks at her, in that slow and owlish way he's had about him since mid-Saturday; but he'll slowly extend his hands for her to take.

Yu will, however, try a smile. It's stiff, requiring obvious effort on his part, but he wants to try. ]
