[ she leads him up to the steps in front of the offering dish which is apparently her favorite place to sit, and gently tugs for him to sit beside her, all without letting go. ]

Mmhmm. We're almost done, and then we can all go home.

[senri will sit beside her and nod]

You should send... people letters on the other side.

They can send them back on Fridays - did you get one?

[frilly]

[ she nods. ]

Mm-hmm. From Chuuya-san.

[ then her gaze drifts up to the evening sky. ]

But I don't know what to say to anyone.

[usogi]

[senri shakes his head quietly]

I think... they'd be happy to hear from you, no matter what you say.

[frilly]

[ . . . ]

Even though...

[ Even though they didn't really solve it? Even though at one point she was borderline advocating for not bothering to solve it? ]

[usogi]

.... yeah.

[and he'll lean against her gently]

... because we're still all friends, even if this place is as difficult as it is.

[frilly]

[ she welcomes it, letting herself go a little looser to lean back into him. ]

... Yeah, you're right. We're, um... All friends.

[ she's trying to sound like she believes it, but her smile and her words are both clearly forced. ]

[ . . . and senri just hums softly]

... well, most of us are.

There are still people who'd like to see you.

[ Madoka switches the subject from that because. seeing friends can be a sensitive subject. or something, who knows, she just doesn't seem like she can answer to that idea right now. ]

I didn't know him well enough to say I would never have suspected him. But... I didn't suspect him. [ she means Guy, obviously, but doesn't want to say his name right now. ]

I was trying so hard to get his alignment this week....

It's one of the last ones I don't have....

[frilly]

[ it's so clearly forced, but Madoka still tries to act casual, playfully rubbing her arm against his for a second. ]

... I was wondering...

Could Madopyon help me with the rest?

[frilly]

However I can, I'll try.

... you can't let them know it's me looking for them - because I think people are already getting the idea that I know a little too much.

But I still don't know Hiro-kun, Entrapta, Estelle-chan, or Alex's alignments.

Those are the only ones I'm missing now. This week they have to be two Ambitions, one Cunning, and one Disorder.

I think the only one I might be able to find out is Entrapta-chan's. She's my friend.

[ Madoka sighs because she wishes she knew everyone else better. ]

It's hard to ask people things like that...

[usogi]

[senri offers up a little smile and bumps shoulders with her affectionately]

Then that's already one more that I couldn't get.

... we're making it a team effort. The more we have to work with, the easier it'll get to narrow things down and guess.

[frilly]

I can't promise she'll tell me. I won't force her to if she doesn't want to.

[ she bumps him back. sad kid solidarity... ]

[usogi]

... yeah, that's fine. I don't want you to force anyone. Especially for her, when it sounds like she was hurt really badly before...

[ . . . ]

I won't use it to hurt her - but if I can find the Dizzy follower that cursed Yu-kun, we might have a better idea, since they were obviously covering for someone from Ambition.

[frilly]

Mm... [ Madoka nods. ]

I don't want her to think I only became her friend to find out information. She's really nice, but she doesn't know how to have friends... I don't want to scare her away.

[ she would probably be a lot more hesitant if not for that mention of Yu, though. ]

[usogi]

Yeah.... I know. You don't need to push too hard - we'll figure out what we can.

[senri just... sighs quietly]

... I got lucky this time, with guessing Guy-san's right but.... I'm scared I'll be completely blind next time.

[frilly]

You won't be completely blind. You already know too much for that to happen.

If you know all the alignments except for those ones, I still think that will narrow things down.

[usogi]

... we'll see. Depending on what the numbers look like this week... I hope that everything will be okay.

[he sighs softly]

We just... need to convince who we can convince in order to win this, for as many people as possible.

[frilly]

You wanted everyone to switch to Piety if they believe in that vision, right?

Have other people agreed to that plan?

[ asking makes her look a little bit pained, because that's one of the things that frustrates her the most. maybe she wouldn't choose the word 'frustrates' for herself.

but she always feels so out of the loop from what Senri is doing. ]

[ . . . . and senri just sighs]

.... Ray-kun did - but only if I got others to go first. I've gotten two who think it's a good idea, but I... I've lost a lot of the number that I was counting on this weekend.

[and he glances away, before shaking his head]

So... I have a backup plan.

If Bambi wins, we're going to see how many wishes she can grant - and what the rules are, for gods who still want to grant more wishes outside of their own team.
